What if

The Coronavirus scare has kept the world under a forced lockdown. Thanks to social networking, people are making the effort to connect with others. This has, to a great extent, helped to bring in a more positive environment.

I was watching this video on YouTube which shows how the canals in Venice are clearing up. People sighted schools of fish, white swans and even dolphins on the coast!

The skies have cleared; pollution levels have decreased considerably and we see more birds flying around.

All this set me wondering. What if people enjoyed their weekends, staying at home and virtually connecting with their friends and families? No force, of course. But there could be some geographic regulation in place.

Say, people from places A, D, J, V, and a few other areas stayed indoors on alternate weekends, while other people stepped out to enjoy nature? Imagine weekends of no traffic, no noise and no pollution.

The Covid-19 virus has taught all mankind a lesson. Do not mess with nature. She’s a giver, but if we don’t love her back, she Will take!
